Our 18” – “Assemble your Own” tuffet kit includes the components to make a finished tuffet form with an 18” diameter. In addition to this kit, you will need a foundation pattern or fusible interfacing pattern, pattern instructions, specialty ruler and the fabric of your choice to complete your tuffet.

One 6” piece of foam pre-cut to an 18” diameter, beveled on top, center marked for the button location
One piece of 17″ diameter wood circle with holes for button tufting and T-nut installation predrilled.
Eight T-nuts used to attach bun feet installed in the wood round (select outer holes for narrow bun feet and inner holes for wide bun feet)
One 30” x 30” piece of upholstery grade fiber (batting)
One 2 1/2” button form
2 yards of cord (used to attach the button to the tuffet form).
2 yards of tufting cord for gathering the bottom.
Four finished bun feet with hanger bolts installed
Upholstery needle to thread button through foam base
Dimple form to obtain optimum button depth.
Upholstery tacks to finish bottom of tuffet.
